From routine eye examinations and bespoke spectacle and lens fitting to specialist treatments, our experienced, knowledgeable team is here to provide a truly comprehensive eyecare service. Due to our investment in the latest hospital grade equipment, we are also able to perform services usually only found in NHS hospitals which cannot generally be found in most high-street retailers.
Eye Examinations
Our highly trained optometrists carry out a series of tests assessing your vision and health of your eyes.
OCT Scan
Optical Coherence Tomography scanning is the latest advancement in imaging technology. Very similar to ultrasound, it uses light rather than sound waves to illustrate the different layers that make up the back of your eye.
Optomap Retinal Imaging
Using a non-invasive light to take an image of your retina, an optomap ultra-widefield retinal image will be taken to screen for early signs of eye conditions, as well as systemic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and high cholesterol.
Screening for these conditions and early detection and treatment of these diseases can reduce the risk to your sight and health.
Topography & Pachymetry
Topography is a non-invasive medical imaging technique for mapping the surface curvature of the cornea which is used to diagnose, monitor and treat various eye conditions.
We use corneal pachymetry to measure the thickness of the cornea which helps in the assessment of several eye conditions.
Visual Fields
A subjective measure of central and peripheral vision used to diagnose and monitor glaucoma.
Biometry Measurement
We conduct biometry measurement of the shape and size of the eye in order to calculate the power of the intraocular lens (IOL) implants required for cataract and refractive surgery.
