Rob joined the practice in 2022 as a Dispensing Optician. He qualified from City and East London in 1989 and was the youngest optician in the UK at the time.
Following a period working with one of the world’s leading lens manufacturers, Rob worked in independent practices across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex, where he enjoyed the opportunity to develop his approachable professional style and foster long-term relationships with patients.
Rob is particularly interested in paediatric dispensing and myopia management, which is an increasing issue for the younger population. With a keen interest in training and education, Rob has also mentored trainee DOs, who have gone on to gain their qualification.
Away from the practice, Rob enjoys travelling and exploring the local countryside on two wheels, as well as cooking and spending time with his family.
